报告摘要：This talk presents our recent initial investigations into dynamical models of coral-macroalgae interactions that incorporate external coral recruitment, macroalalgae grazing pressure, and environmental stochasticity. We first examine how environmental stochastic disturbances, rates of external coral recruitment, and macroalgae grazing jointly shape the long term dynamics and stable states of coral reef systems. Subsequently, we developed a state-dependent piecewise deterministic Markov process model to systematically examine the impact of random natural disaster events on the multistability structure and transition mechanisms of coral reef systems. This work aims to provide quantitative insights and theoretical tools to support understanding and management of disturbed coral reef ecosystems.

专家介绍：刘胜强，天津工业大学数学科学学院教授、博士生导师。2002年于中国科学院数学研究所获博士学位。研究领域为生物数学和动力系统。先后主持国家自然科学基金5项，出版专著1本，在SIAM J Appl Math、J Diff Eqs、Bull Math Biol、Math Biosci、J Nonlinear Science、Stud Appl Math等应用数学领域知名学术期刊上发表论文100余篇。现任中国数学会生物数学专业委员会副主任兼秘书长，入选天津市高校学科领军人才培养计划，曾获山西省自然科学二等奖。
