报告题目:Isomorphism problem of power semigroups

报告摘要:

In this lecture, we will introduce power semigroups and power monoids and discuss various instances of a rather general problem (formulated in the language of categories and functors) for these structures and some related constructions. We will start with the Tamura Shafer problem for power semigroups, then move on to an isomorphism problem for reduced finitary power monoids stemming from a conjecture of Bienvenu and Geroldinger, and examine its solution in a number of important cases. Finally, if time permits, we will consider an isomorphism problem for monoids of ideals.

报告人简介：

Salvo Tringali是河北师范大学数学科学学院的教授。他的研究领域位于算术组合学与半群理论的交叉点，特别关注幂半群以及单子和环等代数结构中的非唯一分解现象。他拥有法国里昂大学让·莫内校区（圣艾蒂安，法国）的数学博士学位和意大利地中海大学（雷焦卡拉布里亚，意大利）的电子工程博士学位。在目前的职位之前，他曾任南开大学组合数学中心（中国天津）的访问教授、格拉茨大学（奥地利格拉茨）的莉泽·迈特纳研究员及讲师、法国理工学院Laurent Schwartz数学中心（帕莱索，法国）的博士后、卡塔尔德州农工大学（多哈，卡塔尔）的研究助理，以及巴黎索邦大学Jacques-Louis Lions实验室（巴黎，法国）的玛丽·居里研究员。
