报告题目：On {2,3,5}-groups with conjugacy classes of distinct sizes

内容摘要：In this talk, we will present a new progress on the S3-conjecture. In 1973, Markel proposed the famous S3-conjecture, which states that if all conjugacy classes of a finite group have distinct sizes, then the group must be isomorphic to the symmetric group S3. In the 1990s, this conjecture was completely resolved for solvable groups. However, the non-solvable case remains open. In our recent work, we obtain the following result: if a {2,3,5}-group is not isomorphic to S3, then it must contain two conjugacy classes of the same size.
个人简介：周伟，俄罗斯科学院索伯列夫数学研究所博士研究生，研究方向为有限群论。近期研究主要聚焦于共轭类大小的数量信息与有限群结构之间的关系，相关成果涉及 Camina 猜想、S3-猜想等公开问题。其中，近期完成的论文 On A-Groups with the Same Index Set as a Nilpotent Group 已发表于Journal of Algebra。
