报告摘要： Gauss curvature flow was used to model the wearing of stones on a beach. The flow by the power of the Gauss curvature arises from various applied sciences. In this talk I will present some recent progresses on these geometric flows.
报告人简介：倪磊教授是加州大学圣地亚哥分校终身教授，著名学者。1991年、1993年分别于复旦大学获理学学士学位和理学硕士学位，1998年于加州大学欧文分校获理学博士学位。1998年至2000年在普度大学任研究助理教授，2000年至2002年在斯坦福大学任Szego助理教授。2002年至今在加州大学圣地亚哥分校任教，2009年聘为教授。倪磊教授主要从事微分几何、几何分析、复几何等方面的研究，在几何分析、非线性偏微分与方程组、复几何及其相关领域做出了一流的工作，均有杰出的原创性工作，在Journal of AMS, Invent. Math, Comm. Pure Appl. Math., Journal of European Math Soc., American Jour. Math. J. Diff. Geom. GAFA等国际顶尖杂志发表了50多篇SCI论文，出版著作5部，自1998年开始长期获得美国国家自然科学基金的支持，包括一项重点项目。倪磊教授2004-2006年度获得美国斯隆奖，被美国数学学会邀请做主要大会报告，是Proceedings of AMS，Int.  Jour. Math.以及Geometric flows等国际期刊的编委。
